It was a big weekend in or household, Jason and I had our first overnight away from both kids!!! Technically we did have one overnight away from Chloe about three years ago but this is the first with both kids, semantics.
Anyways, we had a wonderful time! We went to Jason's work party, they were celebrating the 100th year of their chapter of the Union. It was out at Prairie Meadows. We enjoyed cocktails and apps along with professional photos to start the evening. Then a seated dinner, drinks, speeches, prizes and then a live band with a dance floor.
There were estimated at over 825 attendees! I have to say it felt good to be in a room full of democrats!!!! The speeches were motivating.
I took a handful of selfies because that's about all I could do. And of course captured Jason doing his best rendition of Footloose :-) The band, Pop Rock, was so fun and I loved dancing the night away with Jason.
A huge, gigantic, endless thank you too my sister for watching the kids and taking care of them. She understands and supports our attachment parenting lifestyle and was able to care for them like they are used to being cared for. They loved spending time with you like always and Chloe is already asking when she can spend the night at your house :-)
