Friday late afternoon we left for a road trip to stay with grandma and papa Kneifl. We arrived to a yummy dinner, drinks and lots of energy to play with the kids, some new toys and an evening of watching the ISU basketball game! It was such a fun and relaxing time, we're so happy Brigett and Steve were there to join us as well :-)
Saturday morning grandma made us breakfast and then the guys went to the motorcycle shop and did guy things.
That afternoon we went to LeMars to visit Brigett, Steve and Tyler. They had a feast for us, it was so yummy and so much fun to hang out in their home. Brig and I did a little shopping at the health food store and consignment shop while Coop took a nap and Chloe practiced some cheer with some teammates;) we even got to see their new motorcycle camper pop up. We're so excited to join them in some family camping this summer! In the late afternoon grandma and papa treated us to a trip downtown to the ice cream parlor. It was so so yummy! Grandma even treated the kids to some souvenirs from the gift shop. Chloe picked out super cute ice cream cone earrings and Cooper picked out a ball of course. Afterwards Steve was so nice as to let Jason take his new Rocket out for a ride, I know Jason had a good time!
That evening we had a lot of laughs around the table with some bubbly cocktails and even more good food. The kids even had their own little party running around the house laughing and screaming. Thanks so much for having us over, we loved it!
Sunday morning us girls went to a craft fair where we all found a goody or two :-) And grandma treated us out to lunch as well! What a fun girls trip, thank you so much for knowing it's just what I needed.
They really put the break in spring break, with all the warm delicious meals, treats, drinks, activities, toys and good times hanging out it really felt like a break! Thanks so much for all you did for us, we really really appreciate it!!!
