Today. Wednesday.
First of all, we want to wish Aunt Rebecca a happy birthday! Hope you had a fun day celebrating!
Today Cooper and I went to our first activity this week. He was starting to feel better last night and we were able to have fun and get out of the house this morning. We went to the Ridge and had a good time, it was good to see our friends again too.
The kids were hilarious after school! I bought them some light weight gloves and a hat for Cooper, our hands get so cold on the walk to school. And they thought the gloves were so cool. Chloe of course had to do the mix match :-)We had to take lots of pictures! It was one of those times where you just had to be there but we were laughing and having fun :-)
Last, Chloe woke up Sunday back to her old healthy self again!!! It's been a long two months of doctor visits, medicines, sleepless night and missing school and activities. But she's better now!!!
Yesterday she told me she really wanted to earn Pow Princess at cheer practice. I told her that since she's healthy again, she'll be able practice hard and possibly win. And guess what? She worked hard and won! I'm so proud of her :-) way to go Chloe!

Getting there!
Cooper was able to sleep all night last night and that means so did I, high fives for everyone!!! First time in a long time, he's being sick way too long:(
But after school today he started to perk up! No fever, ate, played it was awesome! I think he's slowly getting back into action!
Once again, thanks go to my sister for coming over this morning so I could shower. It's the little things in life that really are the big things. Xoxo.
Monday in the park!
After school Aunt Brigett came over for a visit. Her visit was not only fun but helpful. She helped entertain the kids so I could get a couple things done around the house. Cooper still wasn't feeling well and pretty much attached to my hip:( it's crazy hire much piles up when I can only attend to Cooper. We went out for some fresh air to the park. It was gorgeous out! Cooper didn't last too long but Chloe sure had fun! Also thanks for watching the kids so I could get groceries! You're the best!

Reflection.
After a stressful and tiring few weeks and weekend I've felt the need to focus on the positive.
Friday night we enjoyed having Brig and Steve over for dinner. It got comical around here as Jason and I built Cooper's Halloween costume! Always a fun and easy time when we get together :-)
Saturday morning we had fun meeting up with the People's for the kids race. I've been friends with Theresa for almost six years but it feels like I've known her a lifetime. I truly cherish our friendship and live all the fun times we share together.
Saturday evening I went on a girls night with my fave girl, Chloe! We went shopping and out for cherry berry. She is so much fun! I cherish our date nights :-)
Sunday was Jason's only day off from work and he spent the day with the kids so I could have a day with one of my besties, Sara :-) Jason thank you so much for all of your hard work both on the job and at home. We couldn't appreciate or love you any more. You're the best!
Meeting up with Sara for drinks, apps, a movie and girl talk is just what I needed. Sara is such a true friend, a great listener, a fun conversationalist and truly so much fun to be around. I don't know when I miss her more, when weeks go by and we don't see each other or when we have to end our evening. Here's to more easy breezy girls days!!!
On my way to and from my girls day I was able to have two whole phone conversations! One with my every supportive mother. I love you so much and can't wait until you're closer. Until then let's keep planning your visits. And the other phone call was with my sister. It's so awesome having you here now. It's hard to put into words how great it is! We need to plan our girls day :-)
Being thankful and staying positive is my m.o. but sometimes I can get lost when the hubby is gone working long days, when the kids are sick and when I'm feeling down in the dumps.
Thank you all for being there for me! Xoxo.

Poor baby:(
Cooper still has a fever and he was just getting worse and more miserable by the minute this afternoon. After daddy got home from work he took him to urgent care. I normally would be the one to take him but both kids had cuddled up on me and Chloe actually was taking a nap. It's a great thing Jason took him because low and behold he has a double ear infection:(
He's on medicine now but still not feeling well at all. Please pray for his speedy recovery and some rest for both of us. It's been a very trying and tiring few months around here.
On your mark....
Chloe ran in a race this morning! She had so much fun doing these activities. This is her third race this year. Theresa created a running club for the kids, she's so fun and creative! We've been enjoying these races along with her and her family. Cooper and Ellie didn't want to participate this morning.
Chloe said she liked running with the mascots and getting the huge copper medal :-)
