Sunday in Iowa City!

We were so happy to spend the day with our old friends from Iowa City! Marcie and Scot and their three kids Charlotte, Henry and Stella. They moved back to IC after living in Portland for eight years. They have a beautiful home and gorgeous family. Chloe and Charlotte made fast friends and were inseparable for the 7+ hours we were there :-)

And it was wonderful as well to spend time with our friends Andrea and Jeff and their adorable twins Ethan and Ava. They came back from AZ for a dinner vacation and came over for a visit as well!

We had such a great time catching up, laughing, eating, and drinking. We look forward to hanging out again! Thanks for having us over, it was a blast!

Fourth of July evening!

The kids enjoy playing with glow sticks, a camping staple. Then we went on an evening walk and were able to stop and watch some fireworks. Chloe shares my affection for a light show :-) once Cooper figured out it wasn't thunder he started to like it as well.

Friday camping fun!

We always do a lot and have a ton of fun at the campgrounds! We wasted no time like usual, first things first swim in the pool :-) followed by playground, nature walks, bike riding, arts and crafts, and an evening dip in the pool.

Birthday Bike and Dinner!

Thursday evening Uncle Rich brought over a birthday present from him, Aunt Andrea, Everlee, Aunt Brigett, Uncle Steve and Tyler. Thank you so much for the Strider balance bike! Cooper has been asking for his very own bicycle for months. We're so excited to get him riding :-)

We also had a birthday dinner together followed by birthday cake. Cooper was ready and waiting to blow out the candles and make a wish :-)
