Girls day!

After packing away all the Christmas decor and cleaning the house we got to enjoy ourselves. Chloe and I headed out for a fun filled girls day!

First we went out to lunch at Pancheros, yummy! Then we went shopping and picked out something for Coop, early birthday gifts for daddy and something for Chloe:) Then the big event of the day, we went to the movie theatre to see Frozen! Chloe has been patiently waiting to see this movie for weeks and after our plans to see the movie with our friends ended up not happening, I was so happy to finally see her face light up and enjoy the movie with her. We had some sweet treats and the movie was very cute.  She already asked if we could buy it for home:) Chloe is such a special daughter and I cherish our girls days we have together.

Jason and Coop did their manly things together too including stocking up with items from Fleet Farm, going out to eat sandwiches and napping. Sounds like they had a wonderful guys day; )

NYE!

We had the best NYE as a family! We enjoyed delicious food and drinks to start. And through out the night we laughed, danced, sang, played Twister, relaxed and celebrated. Chloe had us in tears of laughter with her air guitar on the kitchen chair:) we tried hard to stay up and watch the ball drop, good thing we have dvr and we watched it today per Chloe's request.

ImaginEve!

Chloe's cheer team performed at the event downtown. Then we stayed and enjoyed the activities with one of her cheermates. Chloe had a blast!

Noon Years Eve play date!

We went to a super cute and fun play date where we had a count down to noon with balloons and a potluck lunch. It was so fun to watch Coop play with kids his age and Chloe easily made friends too. All the kids were well behaved and which made for an easy and relaxing play date.

Love these smiles!

Monday with Gramma!

On Monday Chloe enjoyed going to no school play day at Triad! She loved seeing some of her old teachers again and even some friends from school. She had a blast.

Gramma has the magic touch and snuggled up Coop for his afternoon nap. They both look very comfy!

Birthday weekend!

I'm so lucky to have such loving parents! Jason has been working a gazillion hours and a million days and mom and dad came to stay to help me celebrate my birthday.

Saturday they took me and the kids out to eat at my fave Mexican restaurant! Then to my delight, Jason got Sunday, my birthday, off of work! Sunday mom and Chloe made me breakfast:) then dad treated us to lunch! Mom made me my fave angel food cake with strawberries and vanilla icecream! Jason and the kids have me the best homemade birthday cards that Chloe insisted be hung on my bedroom door:) and awesome gifts! mom stayed the night and
had a slumber party with Chloe. That totally made her day and mom said it went great!
Then to our surprise mom offered to watch the kids so we could go on a date night! We went and saw The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. It was the best movie that we've seen in a long time! Granted we've only seen about five movies in the past five years; ) but it was great and we'd recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much for the wonderful birthday weekend! It was very special to me!
